Miss Odessa's Porch Kitchen occupies a restored 1920s bungalow in the Starland District, just a few blocks from SCAD. Tables spread across the front porch and the dining room inside, with ceiling fans and potted ferns everywhere.

The kitchen stays in the family: the granddaughter runs the front of house while her husband works the stove. The menu barely changes, because regulars already know what they want, but there's a different daily special Monday through Friday.

Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver lunch boxes and house specialties to the Starland District and nearby neighborhoods. Place your order on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the delivery fee and time.

Do I need a reservation?

Not on weekdays. On Saturdays and Sundays, for parties over six, please give us a day's notice on WhatsApp.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Yes. The vegetarian lunch plate is available Monday through Friday, and our red rice can be prepared without meat any day.

What's the daily special?

It changes Monday through Friday: it might be oxtail stew, chicken and dumplings, fried whiting, or pot roast. We post the daily special on Instagram at 10am.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, and cash. For other arrangements, please confirm on WhatsApp before ordering.
