Cookie policy: cookies and data stored in your browser

01What cookies are

Cookies are small files that the site saves in your browser to remember information between visits, such as the fact that you’re signed in. Your browser also has other storage spaces (local storage and session storage) that work in a similar way. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional and depend on your permission.

All of these are first-party Hyperpin cookies. The hp_ref and hp_utm cookies don’t identify you personally: they only store the affiliate code and the link’s parameters. If you create an account or make a purchase, this data is recorded together with your sign-up or payment, as described in the Privacy Policy.

03Data stored in your browser

Besides cookies, the platform saves a few items in your browser’s storage. They are not sent to third parties.

04Analytics

If you accept analytics in the cookie notice, we load Vercel’s metrics tool (Vercel Web Analytics), which counts page visits in aggregate. According to Vercel, it doesn’t use cookies. If you choose essential only, it isn’t loaded and the hp_anon identifier isn’t created.

Regardless of your choice, we record some usage events in our own database without any browser identifier (for example, "home page viewed" or "payment started"), for internal product metrics. When you’re signed in, these events are linked to your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

05Third-party content

The demo video on the home page, when there is one, is only loaded after you click it, and it uses YouTube’s enhanced-privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo (without tracking). Once you click, the video service may use its own cookies.

On the card payment page, Mercado Pago’s secure component is loaded to protect your card data and may use its own cookies for fraud prevention.

Client websites published by Hyperpin don’t use Hyperpin tracking cookies. They may load the embedded Google Maps map and Unsplash images, which follow those services’ own policies.

06How to change your choices

By default, we only use what’s essential. The first time you visit the site, the cookie notice lets you accept analytics or keep essential only. You can review this choice whenever you want:
